Support Dance Performance on Maui
Maintaining Alexander Academy Performing Company's standard of excellence and inclusive student body involves annual expenses that exceed money earned from performance fees, ticket sales, fundraisers, sponsorships and grants. This past year, our production expenses have increased by 26%.
There are two ways to support AAPC - The Annual Fund and Show Sponsorships.
The Annual Fund bridges the gap by providing ongoing support for our performances, including scholarships for students in need, theater rental, costumes, sets, props, and overhead. With your help, we can ensure that the next generation of our dancers continues to receive high-caliber training, professional opportunities, professional costuming, integrity put into each production, and the support necessary for success.
Show Sponsorships shine the spotlight on your business. Sponsorship has many benefits, including opportunities to engage your network, receive recognition and enjoy complimentary tickets to shows and special events. Packages may be customized, and all gifts are tax-deductible.

Donate to our Annual Fund
We are introducing a new Annual Fund to support our annual performance seasons, starting in 2024-2025 with The Nutcracker Ballet at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center, and our Spring Production at Seabury Hall May 31 to June 1.
We have a new need for Fall 2024. We are asking for help to cover our students that rely on scholarships to afford a dance experience. Our move to the Queen Ka'ahumanu Center has increased our overhead, with renovations to the new studio space estimated at $25,000, as well as rental increases. Last year, we supported about $82,000 in tuition and performance fees, and hope to continue supporting our students in need.
As a non-profit organization, we look to the community - our true ambassadors - to help us fill the gap!

We are thrilled to once again present the full-length Nutcracker Ballet to Maui! Being at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center is a dream come true for our company and our students. Our company is dedicated to creating a professional production, and our dancers need the large stage at the Castle Theater to dance to their fullest ability.
Our cost to perform at the MACC is very expensive, so we need your support! Our ability to perform there relies on your generous donations. Your financial donation has a positive impact on our production for all our participants and audience members. We hope you see the value and integrity we have with our programming.
